Standing Strong Amid COVID-19
COVID-19 is downright scary, but common sense can go a long way to calming your clients’ fears (as well as your own).
Transparent Communication – Inform staff, employees, and clients of updates – both locally and nationally. Keep them informed of the steps you are taking to avoid an outbreak. Appropriate steps include:
- Insisting that any employees who either have the symptoms, have been in close contact with someone who has the virus, or traveled out of the country recently stay home.
- Increase routine cleanings throughout offices and facilities.
- Encourage regular handwashing – 20 seconds is the rule.
- Switch to remote work/telecommuting where appropriate.
